Jaysha Patel has joined New York ABC owned station WABC as a freelance reporter.
Patel left KABC in Los Angeles two months ago to get married.
“Same station, different city,” she wrote on social media. “I’m excited to share I’ll be joining the abc7NY team as a freelance Morning Reporter Sunday through Thursday! I’m excited to work alongside the talented Journalists here in New York and at the #1 station in the country!”
Patel worked at KABC for nearly four years. Before that, she worked at WPMI in Mobile, Alabama.
