In addition to Mabry, Joey Cole is returning to MSNBC as a vp of planning for newsgathering. Cole re-joins from NBC News, where she served as an executive producer on NBC News Now. She will be responsible for planning coverage logistics of current-day, next-day, and future news events as well as leading a team focusing on strategic planning, developing coverage schedules, and content guidelines across various platforms.

New Streaming Addition: Major Garrett’s long-running podcast series, The Takeout, is becoming a streaming show. The series will stream on CBS News 24/7 five days a week at 5 p.m. ET and cover political happenings, in-depth interviews, and original segments.

Life After NBC News: Former Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd is launching a new weekly political show on the journalism-focused streaming service Noosphere. Sunday Night with Chuck Todd will feature the host speaking with newsmakers in restaurants, bars, and other public venues in the Washington, D.C. area. “No talking heads, studios, or pundits arguing over Zoom, just authentic human interactions with smart people at the center of the news,” Todd said in a promo for the new series.
