Fans eager to watch and rewatch Telemundo’s iconic courtroom series Caso Cerrado can now do so 24/7. The network is launching a new FAST channel dedicated to the popular Spanish-language courtroom drama.
Starring Dra. Ana María Polo the series is a a major cultural phenomenon among Hispanics in the U.S. and Latin America. And the FAST channel will launch with over 800 hours of courtroom antics for domestic audiences to devour for free via Roku, Samsung TV Plus, Prime Video, Fubo, FireTV, Freevee, Google TV, LG channels, TLC, Comcast, Plex, and Xumo.
“Telemundo’s Caso Cerrado is one of Hispanic media’s most iconic franchises with enduring fandom and new audiences discovering the courtroom drama via viral moments across digital and social platforms,” Romina Rosado, evp of streaming at NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises said in a statement.
“With more than 26 million dedicated fans and nearly 100 million average monthly views on social media, the demand for this iconic series continues to grow,” Rosado continued. “We are thrilled to add Caso Cerrado to our growing FAST channel lineup, giving fans—new and old—24/7 access to the iconic Dra. Polo.”
The launch of the FAST channel comes after Caso Cerrado recently celebrated its 24th anniversary. Telemundo is also angling to introduce the courtroom drama to a younger Hispanic audience, particularly the 32 million bilingual Latinos in the 18-49 demo driving demand for free, on-demand content.
Caso Cerrado’s FAST channel is Telemundo’s latest addition to its streaming portfolio, joining an established lineup that includes Telemundo Al Día, which offers news, entertainment, reality, and sports; Noticias Telemundo Ahora, a 24/7 Spanish-language news service for millennials and Gen Z; and the action-focused Telemundo Acción.
