Hallmark Media is making some changes to its executive leadership team.
Today, the company announced that John Matts will assume the title of president, and Jessica Tasler Noble will serve as chief culture officer. The role was previously held by Sabrina Wiewel, who recently joined Crayola Studios as the executive vice president.
In his new role, Matts will report to Hallmark Cards, Inc. CEO Mike Perry, and oversee specific divisions including advertising sales, culture, distribution, finance, research, and strategic insights. Matts first joined Hallmark Media in 2022 as chief financial officer and most recently served as the company’s chief operating officer.
“John’s proven leadership, strategic insights, and deep understanding of our brand, business, and the industry make him ideally suited to drive the evolving Hallmark Media business into the future,” Perry said in a statement.
Tasler Noble, who was at Hallmark Product & Retail for more than 16 years, will report to Matts as the chief culture officer. The executive previously served as a senior vice president of employee experience.
Meanwhile, Darren Abbott will continue his role as Hallmark’s chief brand officer, reporting to Perry, where he will spearhead brand development, programming and content, creative product development, brand licensing, marketing, communications, and branded experiences across the Hallmark Media and Hallmark Product & Retail properties.
