WPP Makes Next Big AI Bet With Investment in Stability AI

WPP is deepening its artificial intelligence toolset and making a strategic move into generative AI with a stake in Stability AI.

The holding company’s investment in Stability AI is meant to deepen access its advanced AI models for creating images, videos, 3D designs, and audio. In return, Stability AI will benefit from WPP’s marketing expertise to improve its technology.

WPP will also integrate Stability AI’s tools into its own AI system, WPP Open, to help its brands ideate, test concepts, and create content more efficiently.

As part of the partnership, WPP and Stability AI will work on integrating their talent pools, enhancing WPP’s in-house production, studio facilities, and creative capabilities.
