McCann has been appointed to work on the creative business for Hefty and Reynolds Consumer Products following a competitive pitch.
McCann’s Detroit and Toronto offices will oversee the account, according to an internal memo sent on May 8 and obtained by ADWEEK.
Hefty did not respond to a request for comment. McCann declined to comment.
DDB Chicago was the incumbent creative agency on Hefty and Reynolds after winning the business in 2022. A DDB spokesperson confirmed the agency did not defend the account.
“We are proud of the work we created with the Reynolds team and grateful for the collaboration along the way,” the spokesperson said.
